Hardware Wallet Routine Planner
A thematic companion to our courses: the same Locate → Verify → Drill → Log loop, explained as a printable rhythm for your calendar.
What the planner is
A one-page monthly sheet plus a quarterly drill card. It does not replace device manuals. It reminds you which questions to ask when the device is sitting quietly in a drawer.
Suggested monthly blocks
- Week 1 — Locate (15 minutes) Confirm physical presence of devices and backups against your map.
- Week 2 — Verify (20 minutes) Firmware status, unused accounts, receive-address sample check.
- Week 3 — Optional deepening Read a field note or update passphrase knowledge sharing notes (never the secret itself on the sheet).
- Week 4 — Log (10 minutes) Write what changed; set the next month’s reminder.
Quarterly drill
Once per quarter, run the home recovery drill script from our blog or Module 5 of Cold Storage Cadence Lab. Keep the stopwatch honest. Note cable, OS, and wording friction.
